Henry Graham Thompson the son of Orrin Thompson sold the families estate to Horace Abbe in 1846. We believe the house was built by Henry Graham Thompson's grandfather Matthew Thompson in 1771 from here on the property was bought and sold. The house has so much to tell accidental deaths, suicides and murders. We only know one person who died of natural causes in the house.
